Sunlife Business Meeting Minutes

11 January 2021

Meeting held over the internet via Zoom provided by Doc Cunningham and called to order at 1312 by President Sue Rogers.

Guests etc. – no new people, no one leaving.

Health and Welfare Pat Malin a lot better, but Terry contracted Covid so both are quarantined. Chuck R had abdominal pain, ultrasound, but doing better. Rick McGaver doing better, but suffering from hive-like eruptions on body. Anna Bliss, recovered from Covid, but now suffering with broken clavicle from a fall. Jerry Davis some spinal stenosis pain and having trouble ambulating, using walker helps. Laura recovering well—both Binghams have appointment for Covid vacine. Ken Noble's wife doing better. Has anyone heard from Mel Livingston? Jim S reports that Art fell but doing well. Diane Hoffman needs to start more aggressive physical therapy—still not walking. Martha Spencer and Pat Redigrout both still mourning loss of spouse, we need to have them on our prayer list.

 

Meeting Location – Greenfield Village still closed – we will continue to meet over Zoom and reevaluate after meeting locations open in the not foreseeable future.

Dues – $10/year due in January on an annual basis. Checks can be mailed to Treasurer: Cheri Goforth,4324 E. Dragoon Cir., Mesa, AZ. 85206. Checks should be made out to Sunlife ARC or hand to a club officer at the park on Thursdays. Special thanks to Life Members who continue to pay dues.

Quartzpause – Some members are going to Quartzpause. We would like to have a get-to-gether on Wednesday at Quartzsite. Motion from floor to authorize expenditure for snacks for meeting at Quartzsite --Motion Seconded, Motion Carried. Since Sunlife President Rogers will be at Quartzsite, Vice President Towers will conduct the meeting on 18 January and Doc will give presentation on resistors.

 

Snowbird Field Day – canceled this year due to Covid distancing requirements.

 

Presentations Needed – please consider what you can present or suggest someone you know who can educate us on something.

 

Minutes of previous business meeting (21 Dec) read and approved as read.

 

Treasurer's Report-- Treasurer Goforth read treasurer's report. Moved and seconded to approve report as read. Motion carried.

 

Old Business – Dues committee report--We should have income flow from current dues structure to support club expenditures in the foreseeable future. Treasurer to monitor and report if situation changes.

 

New Business – none
