Meeting called to order 1000 by President Jerry Davis

Returning/New Members Stuart Carlson KB7PRR, Mizoula MT

 

Health and Welfare Bob Generas WZ0H still in hospital,in good spirits,getting rehab. Larry Aubushon on home hospice. Don Austin's wife fell and broke hip.

 

Minutes of previous business meeting (13 Jan) read and approved as read.

 

Treasurer's Report-- Current Bank Balance $2598.56, petty cash $188.09, education fund $1189.80. Moved and seconded to approve report as read. Motion carried.

 

Old Business – None

 

New Business – Motion: Authorize spending up to $150 for Snowbird Field Day for meat items. Motion seconded and passed.

 

Assignments made to purchase meat at Costco, bring condiments, grill, QSL cards, filters.

Discussion about dividing operating time-- decision—cw on top half of hour, phone & digital on bottom half.

3 pavilions at SFD, digital, phone, and CW.

Judy won top prize at Yuma Hamfest.

Electronics class starts today at VO Ham Shack taught by Doc Cunningham

Discussion on use of scholarship fund, interested people to meet with Doc Cunningham for further discussion and idea generation. Table until next month.

Closing Activities:

Joke – Tom Liska— he works for Nancy Pelosi but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the class.

Education Fund drawing-- $32 with $16 to Ed fund, $16 to winner, Gene, K8WQ.
