Meeting called to order 1000 by President Jerry Davis

Returning/New Members Mike, N9MS

 

Health and Welfare – Sharee doing well in rehab, staph infection, iv antibiotics. Pat, K8MBG at rehab, taking General class.

 

Minutes of previous business meeting (16 Dec) read and approved as read.

 

Treasurer's Report-- Current Bank Balance $2492.46, petty cash $188.09, education fund $1105.80. Moved and seconded to approve report as read. Motion carried.

 

Old Business – Bob mentioned dropping 20 meter net, was told that that item was tabled and appointed committee will report findings at March Business Meeting.

 

New Business – Motion to supplement non-resident student fee at VO classes by $10 per student. Motion seconded and passed.

Need new instructor for General Class next year

Annual Committee Appointments

Treasurer Audit Committee: George, Jeff, Anna

Nominating Committee (March Election): Jeff, Jim, Hugh

Inventory Committee: Glenn, Dick, Frank

Proposed raising scholarship to $750 because of lack of takers. Discussion result in leaving scholarship at $500. Motion to table discussion until Doc discusses situation with instructors at MCC. Motion seconded and passed.

Announcements –

Snowbird Field day Wednesday, 26 February. Sign-up sheet being passed around.

Wine tasting at Superstition Mountain Museum, and free lectures on Thursday.
