Meeting called to order 1000 by Vice President Sue Rogers

Health and Welfare

 

Minutes of previous business meeting (18 Nov) read and approved with one correction.

 

Treasurer's Report-- Current Bank Balance $2081.25, petty cash $151.86, education fund $925.30. Moved and seconded to approve report as read. Motion carried.

 

Old Business – Discussion about clubs 20 meter net. Suggested to have one net/week because many not remembering that we have net--but brought up that if members are forgetting three nets/week, how can they remember one? Some members think we should cancel nets. Most local members do not have big gun station and cannot hear check-ins from Midwest and Washington which can be heard on VO station. Motion: appoint committee to study 20 meter net situation and make recommendation to club. Committee to consist of at least four members of which two members live at VO. Seconded, motion carried.

Appointments by Vice Pres. Sue Rogers: Doug Ward, Glenn Sicks, Jeff, Terry LaDuke, and Dan Dietz to the new net advisory committee

 

New Business – Scholarship update-- no applications at this date for MCC scholarship. Will extend application deadline to try to generate interest from MCC students.

Morse Code class will start 6 January at 0900. Anyone else interested please sign up on sheet.
