Meeting called to order 1000 by President Jerry Davis

Returning/New Members New— Vivica, ; Ralph, KA7CET; Returning – Earl, N7EP; Mike, K7VG;

Health and Welfare Tom reports that Shiree, out of rehab and home,walking in water to prepare for trip.

Minutes of previous business meeting (13 April) read and approved as read.

Treasurer's Report-- Current Bank Balance $2331.15, petty cash $173.46, education fund $845.75. Moved and seconded to approve report as read. Motion carried.

Old Business – Antenna analyzer in a metal tool box still in possession of Romeo's widow. Tom Goforth to contact her and try to obtain analyzer. Auction of excess club equipment to be held at later date.

New Business – Pay for solar panel purchased by Tom Goforth for club echolink node - $250. Motion to pay passed.

Discussion about 20 meter nets on Mon, Wed, and Friday with a dearth of club member participation. Suggested, canceling nets, hold nets one day/week, make an echolink net, etc.. Discussion tabled until the end of the year to gather statistics or until statistics can be produced to verify actual participation.

Booth at Superfest December 7th? Doug Ward volunteered to apply for booth with future discussion relative to manning the booth and what information to have available for dissemination.

Can we publicize and discuss participation in upcoming contests and events in future meetings?

Announcements – 6 meter net Saturday evenings at 2000, 53.720 MHz, pl 136.5, minus 1 MHz offset.

Website updated with for sale page made public.

Upcoming Titan Missile Museum trip in December

Antenna project upcoming for end fed, random wire antenna with cost approximately $20 plus cost of wire of choice. Notify President Davis if you want to participate.

Need someone to take over for Howard mentoring electronics class—Doc said he could possible do it.

15 December Christmas party—sign up on sheet being passed around.

Ham radio in park on Thursday mornings

Electronics special interest group meets in Red Mtn Library on Thursday afternoons.

Reminder that Daylight Savings changes in two weeks.
