Old Business

72 people attended the successful Christmas Party where a visitor came and read the story, Twas the Night Before Christmas, in Texas that is. Two lines for food service improved the speed of people getting through the food trough. Food was good.

 New Business

Snowbird field day is Wednesday, February 27, 2019 (always the last Wednesday in February). Two sign up papers are being passed around—the first is for the pot luck, the second is for volunteering to set up and administer a band and mode. We will have QSL cards for club call sign, W7ASL, to send out for contacts. Need volunteer to handle getting them out. Don't remember who did it last year.

Moved and seconded to buy Arduino, Arduino Book, and Arduino boards from Thom Davis for $40. Motion passed.

Scholarship Applications – none received yet—21 December is cut-off date.

Discussion on changing Golden Corral day to Business meeting to take advantage of lower prices when arriving before 11:00. 18 people raised hands that they would be willing to go to GC at this better price. Motion made to move Golden Corral day from first Monday to the third Monday or other Business meeting date starting in February. Seconded and passed. We will make accommodations for John and Amy at end of table if they are attending.

Would like members to consider volunteering next month to serve on upcoming annual committees
