Meeting called to order 10:00 by President Jerry Davis

No Health and Welfare
Minutes of previous business meeting (16 April 2018) read and approved as read.
Treasurer's Report-- Current Bank Balance $2332.46, petty cash $189.25. Accepted as read.
Old Business
Alaska Bank Status-- Want IRS form 147c which is in mail from IRS when filled out will facilitate moving account to no fee account.
Old Projector – Dave, K1AM picked up projector and other donated equipment for the LaPaz kids. Students have built a repeater for their use.
Tabled motion-- Scholarship should be only one per year. Motion moved and seconded to give one $500 scholarship this year. Passed.
Tabled motion – payment for Mike's work on website. No action
New Business
New Website will cost $393.29 which includes one time fees, privatization of site, and 5 years of site hosting. Moved & Seconded to pay this amount for site. Motion carries.
Electronics Course hosted by Howard—wants sign-ups for class, including preferred day/time for class.
Roster needs to be corrected—each individual needs to check personal information.

Announcements
Cliff available to collect dues
FCC forcing some TV broadcasters to move to other frequencies. Will need to have TV rescan spectrum –change to be mandatorially effective in about 2 years.
Bob and Laura are testing at their home—call them for appointment
Ham Radio in the Park on Thursday mornings
Special interest group meets every Thursday afternoon at Red Mountain Library to discuss and work on Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Cad design, 3D printing, etc. All are welcome.
Ongoing Tech class at Red Mountain Library Thursday evenings, 5 PM
Licensing classes starting in January at VO for all 3 classes of radio license.
Education Fund drawing-- $45 with $22.50 to Romeo/winner
Attendance = 35 signed in
